How do I book a car with Amber Car Rental?

Pick your dates and vehicle on our fleet page, then click Book Now. You'll be taken to our secure booking system where you can review pricing, add extras, and confirm your reservation. You'll receive an instant confirmation email.

What do I need to rent a car?

A valid driver's license, a credit or debit card in the primary driver's name, and proof of insurance or the option to add our coverage at checkout. Renters typically need to be at least 21 years old.

Do you offer long-term car rentals?

Yes. We offer weekly and monthly rentals with meaningful discounts versus daily rates — a popular choice for relocations, extended business travel, and rideshare drivers.

Is insurance included?

You can either use your existing auto insurance or credit card coverage, or add our protection at checkout. Our team will walk you through the options during booking.

Is there a mileage limit?

Most rentals include a generous daily mileage allowance. Long-term rentals have a monthly cap with an affordable per-mile rate beyond that — details are shown at checkout.

Can I extend my rental?

Yes. Just reach out before your return date and we'll extend it in the booking system, subject to vehicle availability.

Do you offer airport pickup?

We can arrange airport delivery for eligible bookings — contact us with your flight details and we'll confirm availability.

What's your fuel policy?

Same-to-same: pick up with a full tank and return it full. We keep it simple — no surprise refueling fees when you return the car as it left.

Do you charge per mile for truck rentals like U-Haul or Home Depot?

No. Amber trucks rent at a flat daily rate with no per-mile charges — drive local or long-distance for the same price. That's easier to budget and usually much cheaper than mileage-based competitors, especially for cross-town moves or longer hauls.
